Short Stories

I am working on writing short stories based on prompts from this website. The prompts themselves consist of three elements, which must be woven together into a story and can be interpreted in any way you please. My stories always have a strong fantasy leaning, so expect these to be affected by the same. I find it a challenge to put three predetermined pieces together, and I hope focusing on shorter stories will get me focused more on actually finishing them!

Harris Burdick Challenge

As an additional writing exercise for myself, I also use the book The Mysteries of Harris Burdick by Chris Van Allsburg as a springboard for storytelling. It’s an amazing tool for bringing out your creativity and really encouraging your imagination.
